The Washington Capitals and CSN Mid-Atlantic have released the upcoming 2016-17 TV schedule.
CSN will broadcast 70 games plus an additional 6 preseason games. NBC and NBCSN will show the Capitals in the remaining 12 games.
The Caps first pre-season game will air on September 26th against Carolina. The first game of the regular season is October 13th in Pittsburgh and will air on NBCSN.
Washington's home opener is October 15th against the New York Islanders will be aired on Comcast Sports.
This marks the first time that the majority of the Capitals preseason games will be broadcasted. 6 of the 7 preseason games will be shown on CSN.
