On Alex Chiasson...
It is kind of surprising that Alex Chiasson has not yet signed with a team. I am hearing Buffalo and NJ have at least looked into this and for now are waiting on some other possibilities... Montreal could also get in on Chiasson, but so far has shown a reluctance to do so...depending on who you speak to...Alex is a player who many feel has some serious upside and he is still very young.
On Tyler Myers...
The Leafs are still taking to Winnipeg, but are complaining about Winnipeg not being willing to make a move until they see or feel out some other situations...
On Cody Franson...
Franson has a possibility of going to Chicago on a PTO and showing his stuff...Pitt, Toronto, Buffalo and even Vegas have spoken to him...Remember how PTOs work here...Other teams could still jump in and offer him a contract as he is only playing with the Hawks on a tryout.
