Seymon Varlamov will start in goal Saturday when the Avalanche (12-6-4) play Dallas at the Pepsi Center.

Varlamov, who won his 200th NHL game Wednesday in the Avalanche's 7-3 rout of Los Angeles, has a 13-6-2 career record against Dallas with a 2.93 goals-against average and .910 save percentage.
The Avalanche outscored their opponents 16-7 while sweeping their three-game road trip, capping it with a 5-1 win against Arizona on Friday. They're 5-0-1 in the past six games.
J.T. Compher scored two shorthanded goals 85 seconds apart while killing the same Coyotes power play in the first period. It was his first game since he sustained a head injury Oct. 13 against Calgary.
Philipp Grubauer made 37 saves and is 5-0-2 in his past seven games.
Anton Khudobin will start for the Stars (12-9-2), who ended a two-game losing streak Friday with a 6-4 home win against Ottawa. He made 29 saves and the Stars had 54 shots on goal.
Neither team had a morning skate.
