The Avalanche open a three-game road trip Friday, taking on the Carolina Hurricanes.
They’ll play Nashville on Saturday and Detroit on Monday.
Pavel Francouz will make his sixth consecutive start. It’s possible Michael Hutchinson will make his Avalanche debut Saturday.
Francouz has gone 4-0-1 in his past five starts with a 1.56 goals-against average and .941 save percentage.

Andre Burakovsky, who missed the past two games with illness/upper body injury, is on the trip. He’s listed as day-to-day.
The Avalanche have won six road games in a row, one shy of the franchise record set Jan. 10-Feb. 7, 1999.
