Teams returned to training camp today on the first day allowable under Phase 2 of the NHL's return to play. For the Rangers, as I wrote yesterday, the team will open up their Rye training camp on Tuesday or Wednesday. In addition, Pierre LeBrun provided a potential date for the start of Phase 3.
One Ranger who will be not be in Rye is Igor Shesterkin. He is in Florida training and will remain there for the time being. In addition, as we saw last week, Henrik Lundqvist is training in Sweden. No timeframe has been given for Hank to return to the States, as that may be partially dependent on no setbacks to the current status, which would result in further delays for Phase 3, putting games at risk.
Igor Shesterkin is training in Florida, where he will remain for time being, and should be on the ice later in the week, per agent Rick Komarow.

LeBrun. The original date proposed was July 10, but that was a guesstimate. A week or two later wouldn't be shocking, which would allow the league to monitor each team and the pandemic situation as a whole. In addition, this would allow additional lead time for the players to get back in shape before the sprint. - which could be three weeks. - prior to games beginning. Those 21 days likely will include some form of scrimmaging to get teams ready for the play-in round or round robin tourney for teams seeded 1-4.
There's been some confusion out there about the potential start of NHL training camps for the 24 teams in Phase 3: both the NHL and NHLPA, subject to negotiation, are hoping for mid-July still for start of camps...

Artemi for the Hart. I know many of you don't love advanced stats, but these three graphs show just how good Panarin was this season. I don't know if he will win, but my view is that he should be in the top-three as one of the Finalists.
Draisatl for Hart should start with a review of 5v5 play.

there's been a lot of talk about McDavid/Draisaitl's 5v5 performance being pretty average. But does the incredible PP production outweigh the 5v5 shortcoming?

Based on the raw numbers, Panarin has my Hart Trophy vote...#playlikeanewyorker https://t.co/wr3ySBpmQe

Only 4 NHL forwards produced better offence* AND defence** than any of their forward teammates:

For all those who never got a chance to go there, Foley's was a great sports bar, despite it being a home for Penguins fans. Unfortunately, due to the pandemic Foley's is closing. If you want to buy a shirt or menu as a momento of the bar, the link is located in the tweet.
Here's what we have left for now.https://t.co/RucDdqVRn9

We do have some SS t-shirts, just trying to assess what we have left. It was a chaotic night in midtown. We'll get to it as soon as possible.
