The San Jose Sharks seem to be looking to add a veteran third-line center, according to The Athletic’s Kevin Kurz.
Things can always changeâ„¢ï¸ but my understanding at the moment is the Sharks are more likely to use free agency to look for a veteran third line center. https://t.co/Vct6XyBVKn

The other interesting point is whether this is where the Sharks should be using the little cap space they do have. While it was an area of need for the team, is the third-line center spot the right position to prioritize upgrading?
Either way, I doubt that adding a center will be enough to push the team towards the playoffs – especially someone they get at a relatively low price – but we’ll wait and see what happens.
