Chuck Fletcher avoided arbitration with Nino Niederreiter. Niederreiter agreed to a 5 year deal worth an average of $5.25 million per year. Niederreiter's contract will pay him 4.6 million in 2017-18, $6.075 million 2018-19, $5.85 in 2019-20, $4.25 million in 2020-21, and $5.475 million in 2021-22.
Nino is a huge part of the Wild nucleus moving forward as the team looks to establish a new identity after five straight playoff appearances with only two series wins to show for their efforts.
Niederreiter is coming off a career season that saw him notched 25 goals and 57 points to go along with his +17 in +/- during the 2016-17 season.
