While calling around this morning I was told Montreal has interest in Sami Vatanen as a stop gap to help keep them above the playoff line now that Chiarot is out. The Flyers may have interest as well...although I have yet to hear them tied to Vats.
Vatanen is having a low production year, but he is solid in his own end and very smart.
He's also cheap on an expiring contract.
