On Joel Edmundson…
The Canadiens are listening intently and a few teams are showing a lot of interest. The Canadiens are looking for prospects…forward, goalie, defense…in that order…As many as 7 teams have talked to Montreal, but I have only nailed down three of them. The Tampa Lightning, The Winnipeg Jets, and the Seattle Kraken. Edmundson's early season injury last year was widely viewed as one of the major reasons Montreal was so slow out of the gate…For that reason. Joel was named alternate captain and it is widely speculated Montreal won’t move him early in the season…However, the offers keep getting better and this becomes more and more viable
On Nylander and Sandin for Chychrun….
This was a VERY hot rumor earlier in the summer and there are some I talk to who believe that Arizona may have actually been given the go-ahead to try and work out an extension for Sandin. The Leafs are playing down his importance right now though and that may not be helping. Nylander is definitely a top gun that Arizona would love to grab I am told.

The Blues are once again listening to offers and this one could intensify “rather quickly per one source (e1)…The Blues were happy with his play, but still, there is a sense they would move him given the right fit. St Louis is approaching this season like they are serious Cup contenders though…so this would have to be a hockey move.
