It was officially announced today that the Tampa Bay Lightning have re-signed forward, Michael Bournival, to a one-year, two-contract worth $650,000 AAV.
The 25-year-old played 19 games with the Lightning during the 2016-17 season, scoring two goals and adding one assist. He has played 108 career games with the Bolts and the Montreal Canadiens, recording 22 points.
In addition, Bournival played 36 games with the Syracuse Crunch last season. He managed to record nine goals and ten assists during that time. He also played in 22 Calder Cup Playoff games, scoring eight goals.
Bournival was originally drafted in the third round of the 2010 NHL Entry Draft by the Colorado Avalanche.
