New York’s lineup should be pretty standard, though we’ll likely see Tom Kuhnhackl/Ross Johnston draw into the lineup for Leo Komarov. Semyon Varlamov and Thomas Greiss are expected to split the game for the Islanders and if one drastically outplays the other, it could give Barry Trotz an easy decision when picking a starter for the series.
The Rangers, on the other hand, are expected to dress Henrik Lundqvist and Igor Shesterkin. This means Alexander Georgiev may be the odd man out, which isn't overly surprising, but is worth noting.
Puck drop is at 8 p.m.
