The New York Islanders released their training camp roster today, ahead of this year’s qualifying round and playoffs.

Here's the roster:

Josh Bailey
Mathew Barzal
Anthony Beauvillier
Kieffer Bellows
Derick Brassard
Casey Cizikas
Cal Clutterbuck
Michael Dal Colle
Jordan Eberle
Ross Johnston
Otto Koivula
Leo Komarov
Tom Kuhnhackl
Andrew Ladd
Anders Lee
Matt Martin
Brock Nelson
Jean-Gabriel Pageau
Oliver Wahlstrom

Sebastian Aho
Johnny Boychuk
Noah Dobson
Andy Greene
Thomas Hickey
Grant Hutton
Nick Leddy
Scott Mayfield
Adam Pelech
Ryan Pulock
Devon Toews

Christopher Gibson
Thomas Greiss
Jakub Skarek
Semyon Varlamov

There really aren’t any surprises on here at all. Head coach Barry Trotz had said that training camp will provide the opportunity for players to earn spots, so it’ll be interesting to see if the lineup in the playoffs actually ends up looking any different from what we’d expect.

We also know that if Ilya Sorokin signs, he is able to join the Islanders for Phase 3 and 4.

The window for Sorokin to sign opens today at noon and while he won’t be able to play in any games, he could join the team for camp.
