The Carolina Hurricanes will face the Boston Bruins in the first round of the Stanley Cup Playoffs, with the Bruins taking the first Wildcard spot in the Eastern Conference.

Despite the lack of playoff success against Boston, it’s hard not to be optimistic about this matchup for the Hurricanes, given how the games went this season. The Hurricanes have home ice and are riding a six-game winning streak, coming out of the regular season.
Game 1 takes place on Monday in Carolina.
