First home game in two weeks (Avalanche)

The Avalanche play Anaheim at the Pepsi Center on Saturday to open a three-game homestand. It will be their first home game in two weeks, since 3-2 overtime win against Arizona on Oct. 12.

They didn’t have a morning skate after defeating Vegas 6-1 on Friday, completing a six-game stretch on the road with a 4-1-1 record.

Goalie Pavel Francouz is expected to start.

The Avalanche have won 10 straight regular-season home games, including 4-0-0 this season, since a 5-3 loss to Anaheim on March 15 last year.

Nathan MacKinnon has a 10-game point streak with 14 points (five goals, nine assists). He is the first player in Colorado/Quebec Nordiques history to have a point in each of the first 10 games since Wendel Clark in 1994-95.
