Rooting for the Devils this season is like riding a roller coaster. An emotional roller coaster.
Since the COVID break and being healthy, this team has fluttered.
The Capitals game was symbolic in many ways; The didn't come out strong. What else is new? The showed zero emotion for 2 of 3 periods. To the point I was concerned. They showed emotion! Yay, in the 3rd rallying back with 3 goals is impressive. The OT Loss. Symbolic to what we have been experiencing.
Which is... Always playing catch up hockey won't win you many games. It is like a different team shows up for each period.
And the line shuffles continue to find a spark.
