Defenseman Christian Djoos is heading to the Detroit Red Wings, after being claimed off waivers.

It’s a bit of a disappointment and with the move, the Ducks lose a bit of defensive depth. That said, Djoos may have had trouble finding a spot in the lineup even later on in the year, with the likes of Kodie Curran, Jacob Larsson and even Josh Mahura all competing for ice time.
All other players who were waived by the Ducks yesterday cleared.
