Talked to a source today who was adamant about the fact the Canucks will be joining the Red Wings, Leafs, Sabres and Rangers as major players in a potential John Tavares Sweeps....
The Canucks obviously are opening up a ton of space with the Sedins retiring and they could prove very attractive to Tavares with all of their young scoring talent in place already. Per sources close to the situation, Tavares will absolutely put "a chance to win in the near future" at the top of his list of priorities should he decide to move on....
Starting next week, after the regular season ends, I will be spending a ton of time on the rumors of this summer. I know many are interested in the playoffs, and they are of course a blast to follow, but I have heard you all loud and clear and many more of you would like me to focus on the many changing rumors as we move into the summer...
