Today is the day NHL Buyouts can begin...(Tampa and Dallas may wait a bit)..so I will update with rumors and actual buyouts throughout the day, and of course once a player is bought out they become a UFA and they will be put on the Rumor Chart....which is growing by the day...This off-season is about to become even more insane.
UPDATE 2PM> The Montreal Canadiens have extended d-man Jeff Petry.
On Wenberg... Rumors out there that the Jackets may buy-out Wenberg.
On Bobby Ryan... The Ottawa Senators appear to be buying out Bobby Ryan. Ryan's contract has always hindered his value, but as a UFA I would expect Ryan to be quite a commodity on the open market...
On Corey Schneider... The Devils have been trying to move Schneider, but if they can't I am told he will be bought out...
Marc Andre Fleury... There is a rumor going around that the Knights may actually buy out Marc Andre Fleury... Lundqvist.... I keep hearing Lundqvist will be bought out, AND I am hearing the Devils with STRONG interest.
