if Bertuzzi took 5.5 to go to Toronto, that had better be less than the cutoff in Detroit. I’m scratching my head right now.
Sounds like possibly a 1 year deal, huge signing bonus 4.725. 1 year with a contender and a lot of guaranteed money. If that was part of the hang up, Detroit didn’t give Larkin any bonus $. No clue. Twitter is sort of broken right now
Bertuzzi will be rocking blue next year, and we’ll have to see him a few times. I don’t know if this 1 year deal is what was on the table or if he’s hoping for higher dollar longer term next year. The cash up front is way better than he would get in Detroit if Larkin is any indicator. What a cruddy end to the weekend
