UPDATE: The Avalanche recalled defenseman Anton Lindholm from San Antonio. He will arrive in time for Tuesday practice in Colorado.
Lindholm, 22, is 5-feet-11, 185 pounds. He was Colorado's fifth-round pick (No. 144) in the 2014 draft. He's from Skelleftea, Sweden, and has two goals, 10 assists and 39 penalty minutes in 59 games.

Should be quite the barn burner Monday when the Avalanche and Arizona Coyotes -- the NHL's two worst teams -- meet in the desert.
Here are the GAME NOTES.
At least Arizona (24-35-8, 56 points) hasn't officially been eliminated from the playoffs yet, though it's merely a matter of time.
The Avalanche (19-45-3, 41 points) were mathematically knocked out for the third season in a row Saturday with their 4-2 home loss to Ottawa.
Colorado would need to win its remaining 15 games to finish with 71 points -- it has yet to win more than two in a row -- and nine Western Conference teams already have at least 72.
After being relegated to third-line duty Saturday, NHL.com reports that Matt Duchene is expected to center Gabriel Landeskog and Mikko Rantanen against the Coyotes. He's gone 10 games without a point and has one goal in the past 24 games.
Unfortunately for Nathan MacKinnon, he'll apparently be stuck with Carl Soderberg and Joe Colborne.
The projected lineup:
FORWARDS Gabriel Landeskog -- Matt Duchene -- Mikko Rantanen Carl Soderberg -- Nathan MacKinnon -- Joe Colborne Sven Andrighetto -- J.T. Compher -- Rene Bourque John Mitchell -- Blake Comeau -- Matt Nieto
DEFENSE Mark Barberio -- Erik Johnson Fedor Tyutin -- Tyson Barrie Francois Beauchemin -- Cody Goloubef
GOALIES Calvin Pickard Jeremy Smith
