The deal is for three years and carries a $4.15 million cap hit. Beauvillier was originally drafted 27th overall by the Islanders back in 2015 and has spent the last five years with the team. The 24-year-old scored 15 goals and 28 points in 47 games with the team this past season, a pace of 26 goals and 49 points per 82 games. He was a restricted free agent and was coming off a two-year deal, which carried a $2.1 million cap hit.
