Starting with Laine.
It's pretty widely known in the hockey world that Patrik Laine wants to play for the LA Kings. So far his experience in Columbus has been so-so at best. The Jackets rarely sell at the deadline, but by now you would think they have a pretty good sense of whether or not they can re-sign Laine. They own his rights for a while, but if the Kings want to bring Laine over no they have some serious prospects to tempt Columbus.
