You can still see the images online. A “jersey retirement night” puck was posted for Sergei Fedorov on shop NHL and Fanatics. And now, it’s been pulled down. Krupa is on Twitter saying that it’s just a rehash of his HOF puck. Just look it up and you’ll see it specifically labeled, “Jersey Retirement puck”. I’m feeling optimistic on this one.

Each year, there are leaks. EA Sports ends up leaking 3rd jerseys before they are officially released. With the demand for production being 6 months or more in advance, it’s easy to see how it can happen. It may just be a teaser, look into it for yourself.

If this is the year, it’s long overdue. Fedorov’s departure from Detroit was no uglier than Patrick Roy leaving Montreal. At some point, everyone grows up and you remember the good times. Fedorov was a sight to behold. Remember the Nike skates? Remember the “action figure”? (It was a doll, but that’s ok). So many superstar accolades that all led up to him being robbed blind by a business manager. The hockey, though. This is about the hockey. Get 91 in the rafters, and get your memorial puck/shirt/hat/hoodie/bobble head etc. let’s hope this leak has legs.

Yesterday, I wrote about the gap between Detroit and Vrana.

Detroit still doesn’t have a top 6 right shot forward.

The second line continues to inch toward improving.

I have high (possibly too high) hopes for the top line this year.

The Griffins are worth the drive, at least I think so.

My third “looking forward” looked at Pius Suter.

My second “looking forward” focused on Alex Nedeljkovic.

My first “looking forward” talked about Moritz Seider.

Jakub Vrana and Adam Erne have filed for arbitration.

I posted “The Winged Wheel season 3, ep 1”

I posted Yzerman’s Zoom call

I posted Pius Suter’s Zoom call

I did a wrap up of the “Frenzy”.
