On The Move? Simon Nemec, Kovacevic And Of Course Hamilton As Devils, Fitzgerald Look To Make Moves (nhl news)

Live footage of the player's parking lot in New Jersey(not really, but should look similar)

As expected the phones are very active in New Jersey this week. Pierre Lebrun announced earlier today that there are "no shortage of teams checking in" when it comes to Simon Nemec. The 22 year old Nemec, whose ceiling is about as high as the occupants of a Willie Nelson tour bus, will be an RFA this summer. It is noted by Lebrun that the Devils are not seeking to trade the young Slovak, but will listen to offers(as they should). If a deal is made, expect it to upgrade the Devils forward corps in "a real way", according to Lebrun.

In addition there have been extended talks between Boston and New Jersey as of late. Players being discussed have not been confirmed, but rumored that Jonathan Kovacevic is someone the Bruins are interested in. From a Devils standpoint it would be a poor decision to sell low, as Kovacevic has struggled a bit since returning from injury. However at just $4m per until 2030, a lockdown bottom pair D-man of his caliber will be tough to replace.

We still wait on Hamilton...Dallas seems a front runner as of now. Also a few whispers on Detroit as well. Other possibilities include San Jose, Carolina, Utah, and Anaheim.
