Berglund Returns For Game Three (Blues)

The Blues will see a slightly different lineup tonight against the Chicago Blackhawks than they have had in the first two of this series. David Backes is out with injury after the vicious hit that Brent Seabrook laid on him in game two.

Derek Roy also exits the line up, but this time as a healthy scratch. Brendan Morrow will jump in and replace Roy on the third line. The Blues will also see the return of Patrik Berglund to the line up after injuring his shoulder later in the regular season. Berglund is slotted to play with Morrow and Reaves.

The Blackhawks will also have to tweak their line up as they will be without Brent Seabrook for the next three games. Seabrook was given a three game suspension for his hit on David Backes. The Hawks will likely plug in Sheldon Brookbank into the line up.

The Blues have gotten timely offense in this series, with goals from Adam Cracknell, Chris Porter, and a big overtime game winner from Barret Jackman. With Alexander Steen, Jaden Schwartz, and especially Vladimir Tarasenko pumping on all cylinders, the offense is certainly there to win.

One has to be impressed with the resolve of Blues goalie Ryan Miller. He was publicly called out by the fans after the Blues losing streak at the end of the season, and many questioned if he'd be the guy to help the Blues win in the playoffs. I think he's showed those critics that he's more than capable of winning games for his team. He'll have to keep his play up, especially when playing in the Madhouse tonight.
