Wednesday Random Notes
- We will be previewing the Stanley Cup Final and much more on tonight’s SlapShot Radio at a special time. We will get things going at 6pm on 94.9 Game 2. Knoxville Ice Bear Mark Corbett, an undrafted free agent and member of the Ice Bears championship team and Tommy Daniels, play-by-play man for the Allen Americans who are in the ECHL Finals game three tonight against South Carolina plus a whole lot more!
- Preseason schedules are starting to be released, several teams released their yesterday including Columbus and it revealed the first Predators preseason date, Tuesday 9/29 at Bridgestone Arena. Keep an eye on the Florida Panthers, that could be the second team to release a Preds date.
- In the “no kidding… department, Mike Ribeiro is reported to be seeking a multi-year deal from Nashville.
- Gotta give some credit to the NashvillePredators.com web team… they have been keeping the site fresh with new content daily, sometimes multiple updates in a day… good on ya guys!
- So glad I avoided downtown yesterday for the Kardashian dumpster fire…
- So glad to see a little positive publicity for the Arizona Coyotes… they are delivering better financial results than expected and will be increasing revenue paid to the City of Glendale by 17%.
