* While he didn't get much defensive support from his teammates, Arvid Soderblom clearly isn't ready for the NHL either; however, this cup of coffee should help identify his areas for improvement so he can continue to grow and shine in the AHL.
* Kirby Dach's defensive effort was pretty lazy and problematic last night; it's one thing to just get overpowered or outworked by the opponent but it's another thing to exert no effort while only fixating on the puck like he did on at least 3 goals against.

Trade Rumors
The Chicago Blackhawks have at least four teams interested in Brandon Hagel, but will they end up trading him? https://t.co/XSMsIYEnEi
— NHL Trade Talk (@nhl_tradetalk) February 17, 2022
Hagel has an attractive contract of $1.5M AAV through 2023-24. Yet, the Blackhawks aren't in a situation where they must trade him. As such, it's imperative the Hawks maintain the upperhand in negotiations and get their asking price (1st rounder + prospect) or simply walk away from the table.
