The San Jose Sharks have signed three more notable free agents, adding Matt Benning, Markus Nutivaara and Nico Sturm.
Benning is 28 years old and this past season, the defenseman managed 11 assists in 65 games with the Nashville Predators. His contract is for four years and while the financial terms were not officially disclosed, Curtis Pashelka reports the deal carries a $1.25 million AAV.

Nico Sturm is a 27-year-old center who’s coming off a Stanley Cup win with the Colorado Avalanche. This past season, he scored a total of nine goals 20 points in 74 games and his three-year contract carries a $2 million cap hit, according to Pierre LeBrun.
Additionally, the Sharks announced three smaller deals, signing Andrew Agozzino, Aaron Dell and C.J. Suess today.
