Darcy Kuemper Staying Put
It sounds like the Coyotes have decided against moving Darcy Kuemper...which is very smart if this team is to go anywhere....
Ekman-Larsson/Kessel package? The Coyotes are trying to make a move however and clear space. In an ideal word, they would look to move Kessel and a first-round pick to sweeten the deal, but currently, the Yotes lack picks to make this happen...There is however lots of talk that Arizona could be packaging Oliver Ekman-Larsson with Phil Kessel to get space...Teams who could do such a deal are very limited of course...Detroit, Ottawa, Minnesota, and NJ are possibilities I am told.
Patrik Laine Rumors Cooling... At least as of now I am hearing the talks have gone nowhere and the price is very prohibitive to say the least...A trade could be considered midseason, but truthfully it looks like the Jets want to keep him and delay that option unless thy are completely blown away.
Finally...
The Lightning are going to have to find space and I am hearing that are seriously considering trading Mikhail Sergachev for a HUGE return while keeping some of the more core forwards....A risky play FOR SURE. Still trying to get more info on this, but I will update as it becomes possible.
