This will be the sixth meeting between the Canadiens and the youngest team in the league, the Kraken. So far the Canadiens have got a 2-2-1 record and they’ll look to get a third win tonight. Having lost their last four games, the Habs could definitely do with a win tonight. Montreal has won the only game between the two sides so far, a 4-2 win in early December with Montembeault in net and Sean Monahan scoring the game-winning goal. The Canadiens number one has played three games against the Kraken and has a 1-1-1 record with a 2.82 GAA and a .925 SP. As for Cayden Primeau, he’s never taken on Seattle and since Montembeault has gotten the last two starts, now may be a good time to give Primeau a 17th start this season.
There are still no news about Martin St-Louis or the length of his absence. The bench boss left the team on March 16 to tend to family matters. On the night, David Savard mentioned involuntarily that the issue was with his son, but there hasn’t been anything new said since then. Perhaps it has to do with the injury sustained by his youngest son Mason on March 8th.
Hard fought 7-3 win vs SPA. Hard to be happy as our friend and teammate Mason left the game in the 3rd after a scary collision. Good news is he’s going to be okay but it takes an emotional toll. Have to do our best to re-focus and get ready for a battle tomorrow vs MSC at 8am.

It remains to be seen how the situation has evolved since then and how long St. Louis will be absent for...
