Mess with Time (chicago)

Possible lines with plenty of interchangeability:

DeBrincat - Strome - Kane Hagel - Toews - Borgstrom Kubalik - Dach - Kurashev Khaira - Carpenter - Entwistle

Reserves: Connolly, Gabriel

Brett Connolly wouldn't be eligible to return until the Avalanche game on January 4. However, who knows how COVID will continue to impact the NHL and the ability to resume the season with the schedule intact aside from the games that have already been postponed and need rescheduling.

Update on when the Blackhawks will hit the ice again for practice:

Game Notes

* Even though Garrett Mitchell is always the captain, the alternate captains seem to be rotating every few games; last night Evan Barratt, Dylan McLaughlin, and Isaak Phillips wore the A's.

* At both ES and on the PP, McLaughlin doesn't waste time advancing the puck up ice and breaches the offensive zone with relative ease to set up or create his own chances.

* Alex Nylander had several prime scoring attempts from in close which is good to see him taking the puck to the net or crashing there and not staying on the outside.

* In his first game back in the AHL after a stint with the Blackhawks, Josiah Slavin played a sloppy 1st period but settled down with a fairly uneventful rest of the game.

* Just as Nicolas Beaudin is exhibiting a mean streak more and more, so is Wyatt Kalynuk yet he does need to pick his spots better so he doesn't get penalized as he has lately especially for retaliation.

* While Beaudin can generally keep his mean streak within the confines of regulating an opponent, he's been tagged twice this month including last night for game misconducts for altercations involving the referee.
