The Los Angeles Kings have signed free agent forward Andreas Athanasiou to a one-year deal, worth $1.2 million.

The forward had 11 goals and 26 points in 55 games between his time with the Red Wings and Oilers, a pace of 16 goals and 39 points per 82 games. He’s played a total of 303 career NHL games, registering 84 goals and 156 points.
I’ll go more in-depth about this signing tomorrow but as a quick note, the Kings are certainly getting great value with this contract. That said, it’ll be interesting to see where Athanasiou will fit into what could be a somewhat crowded Kings forward lineup.
