WELCOME TO LA, KEVIN!

We've acquired Kevin Fiala from the @mnwild in exchange for D Brock Faber and our 2022 first-round pick.
Going back the other way, the Kings’ first-round pick was set for 19th overall. Faber, on the other hand, was selected by Los Angeles in the second round of the 2020 NHL Draft and this past season, he scored 14 points in 32 games with the University of Minnesota.
I’ll go more in-depth on the trade and contract in the coming days but as a quick note, this is a huge win for the Kings. With the deal, they’ve managed to add a long-term fit in their top-six, while the package they gave up was certainly manageable.
