if you thought Marc Bergevin was done with his Christmas shopping you were wrong (and so was I), the Habs just surprised the hockey world by announcing the signing of Corey Perry to a one-year deal worth $750 000. This is yet another right winger that the Habs GM adds to his roster. With 1045 games of experience in the league, Perry has seen a lot and can be yet another veteran presence in the room. Last season, the 35 year-old Perry played 57 games and gathered 21 points (5 goals and 16 assists). At 6-foot-3 and the 205, Perry can bring more weight up front and while his best years are behind him, this could be a welcome depth addition to the Canadiens.

Si vous pensiez que Marc Bergevin avait terminé son magasinage des fêtes, vous aviez tort (tout comme moi), le CH vient de surprendre tout le monde en annonçant la signature de Corey Perry à un contrat d'un an d'une valeur de 750 000$. Il s'agit donc d'un autre ailier droit que Bergevin ajoute à sa formation. Avec 1045 matchs d'expérience dans le circuit Bettman, Perry en a vu d'autres et pourra être un autre vétéran d'expérience dans le vestiaire. La saison dernière, le joueur de 35 ans a joué 59 matchs avec Dallas et amassé 21 point (5 buts et 16 passes). à 6 pieds 3 et 205 livres, Perry peut amener encore plus de poids à l'avant et même si ses meilleures années sont derrière lui, il pourrait s'avérer une bonne acquisition de profondeur pour le Tricolore.
