Highlights

Blackhawks Notebook

* While his skating needs refinement, Taylor Raddysh compensates for it with hustle and compete level. He consistently gets to areas in order to contribute in all zones. Even without the puck last night, he made his presence felt by dishing out 5 hits.

* Often criticized for not being a strong player, Dylan Strome's resurgence this season may be a byproduct of not just his dedication to play away from the puck but also some enhanced mass and power. Add in his patience and vision makes him a multi-faceted offensive threat.

IceHogs Notebook

* The goalie carousel keeps spinning and adding more horses to the ride as the Hogs follow up the Hawks signing of Jaxson Stauber by inking Mitch Gillam to a professional tryout. Gillam essentially rotates up from the Indy Fuel as Tom Aubrun goes back to the ECHL.

* In health news, Michal Teply is out for 1-2 weeks with a right shoulder injury while Garrett Mitchell and Cale Morris are day-to-day with ailments to the lower back and left hip. The good news is Dylan McLaughlin is now out of concussion protocol.
