Watched the game, and didn't think either goal should have been called back.
- TheFreak
Yeah, the first goal could have probably gone either way, so should have stayed with the call on the ice. The second goal was just two guys battling for position in front of the net. Should have counted IMO as well.

Dude, it's 2024. EVERYONE is offended by EVERYTHING. Years back this wouldn't have generated a ripple on a pond, but today everything is offensive.

It's not washed out. It's an obvious factor. Not the only factor of course but one that has to be considered. For you to dismiss it as silly, is just ignorant.
- MJL

A factor ceases to be relevant if it persists across so many seasons and so large a % of games. His TOI/game in any season is also within ~ 5% of his career average after his rookie season.

Further Point has shown repeatedly how effective he can be even when injured (recall the 2020 playoffs).

In summary, there is no evidence - direct or statistical - that suggests his performance was impaired by injury over so long based on ppg. (The WAR that Tomahawk brought up is a different story).

Now, I understand the pinnacle of your life is to argue the unarguable, so have at it. To quote a great American, you will have to include me out.

You have a forum here where you have an opportunity to prove that I'm repeatedly wrong. You haven't been successful in that endeavor in your entire existence on here. Which is why you have to repeatedly have to lob personal insults and repeatedly question my mental state

Of course there is statistical evidence. What are you talking about?

A larger sample provides evidence, not erase it. You missed it as a factor. That simple. That's not uncommon for you.

You won't be able to help yourself.

I have to agree with Cooper. Both goals waived off should have counted in my opinion. Especially the 2nd one.
- MJL
Yeah, first one was debatable, but the second should have counted.

Should be taken with a grain of salt, but the report out of Seattle this afternoon is that several of the top players for the Kraken said that they'd refuse to play for them if the dullard remained coach. I dunno...

The second one was clear cut that it should've counted in my opinion. On the first one the Florida defender was Duclair in the crease. Bob reached in between his legs with his glove first and then tried to reach around with his stick to get the puck. He took himself out in doing so.

It sounds like his old agent was a family friend. His only client was Couturier. His new agency is larger and more established.
- Dkos

But he doesn’t need a new contract any time soon so why upgrade your agent. If he’s not asking for a trade or some sort of major changes it’s just bizarre.

Favorite Gene Hackman movie? I’d have to go with Hoosiers….or The French Connection. I have a soft spot for Get Shorty too. Fun movie and has a great soundtrack.

Little Bill in Unforgiven I think is his best. But was funny in the Birdcage and as Lex Luther in Superman and as the blind man in Young Frankenstein.

Still laughing at that Clifford Franklin quote from earlier! 😂🤣😂🤣

I doubt that. Granted we do seem to be entering a new era where more players seem to think they dictate how the franchise operates and not vice versa

You sure you read that right? You sure they didn’t just spell “Philadelphia” wrong?

I loved him as Lex Luthor in Superman and Superman 2. Just hilarious with Ned Beatty.

poop seems personal between them. My guess is that Michkov refuses to kiss the ring. He's not exactly a nice guy like Frosty. We're talking about the kid who was telling certain NHL teams to go (frank) themselves at the draft.

Cant wait to get him into camp and deal with torts -- will he look at torts and say (frank) this - ill go back to the motherland?

I did my Ph.D at Penn and taught there and at Princeton in various full time positions over the years*.

What is the implication about Cornell? Do you know how strong some Cornell departments are, like in say Computer Science?

(EDIT: But untenured positions though )
