They should give Josh Harding a shot.

Hard to say what his value is right now.

Goaltending, Defense, Penalty Kill, Power Play, Coaching...take your pick of problems on this team right now.
- Ninja1

Couldn't agree more.
This team has a slew of problems. My first step would be coaching. The whole coaching staff has lost this team. (IMO) this would be the biggest move to turn the team around. Not just a couple of roster moves. This team is 💩 right now.

It has the potential to be an absolute blockbuster....

Miller
Stafford
Leopold
Brennan

for

Kane
Crawford
Frolik
Leddy

Roughly works out salary wise. Blackhawks can take on a poop ton of salary at the deadline per capgeek

Dont post Hawks rumors. You get me all excited ! But as everyone else said , its not just the goalies. We need one more D man and a real power forward would be great.... The only thing true is that you posted Ek is that patience is running out in Chicago. We'll stop filling the madhouse if the on ice product sucks. And boy do they suck .

If the Hawks need a quality starter, their best trading partner should be the Leafs. we have 2 #1 goalies who are cheap and can steal games at any time.

Monster+Gunnarsson for Toews and a 1st rounder is more than a fair trade

3 no.1's if you include emerging Ben Scrivens. Tough to argue that trade.

Great to see you back Glucky!

You are saying Toews, the captain of the Hawks, A cup champ, isn't worth a goalie who hasn't played a full NHL season, and a 5th defenseman?

If I were the Hawks, I'd laugh Toews plus a pick outta the water for gus and gun

Just want to add, as much as I usually agree with you Gluck, and tend to think you are the more logical of Leaf fans on here, I totally disagree with you on this.

No disrespect to you.

I look at it this way...if I'm Snow, I'm not going crazy trying to get rid of Nabokov. If YOU need a goaltender that badly, offer me something I can use. This is a 36 year old goaltender that I got for the waiver fee, so it's not killing me to let him walk at the end of the year, especially if I'm within striking distance of a spot in the dance at the deadline.

A 4th D + Goalie seems like the best blockbuster this team needs. And selling Kane or Hossa, would probably get you that and a 1st. Just imagine:

Kane
1st
Prospect

Suter
Lindback
Kostitsyn
2nd.

Monster is a true #1, it's not his fault the Leafs have tons of high quality depth in net and on D. Gunnarsson would play in their top 4 for sure, after Keith and Seabrook, he would be their best D. You're crazy if you think the Hawks say no to this trade. Burke is a magician....he never loses a trade.

Does anyone think this could be a ploy to publically announce they want a goalie to put pressure on Boston to move one??

Hawks issue is the inexperienced depth and too many "off years" from their top players. Goals against is the biggest issue, and that is coming up in a variety of ways but I feel they just dont have the depth to control games like they used too and leaning too much on Toews/Hossa, and that will only last for so long.

It may be time to move Kane out for better depth or a goalie who can slow down the Gaa.

Why give up Kane for a starting goalie? And what starter is even acquirable right now? If you ask me you either go Nabokov for a 2nd and maybe a prospect or you offer a conditional 1st and prospect for Schneider.(the condition being that he re-signs after the season)

Only in Leafland is Monster considered a #1 and Bozak plays on the top line. No wonder they hate us

They very well might, they've been scouting him for the past 2-3 weeks now...a hawks scout has been at their last 9 games

Now you just gave ammo to EK to start his next made up rumour
