yeah noodles is completely (frank)ed, even as a kid he was creeping on girls.

spoilers below

i think the ending happened exactly as we saw it, i don't buy into any crazy theories because the rest of the movie is so straight forward. the only real question i have is why would the guy jump into a garbage truck to get crushed to death when he had a perfectly good gun. seems like the worst way to die.

Lincoln is "good" because I guess so because art and whatever, but (frank) is it boring.

But then you get something like The Runaways.

but then something like American Sniper is really good, but apparently LIBERALLY altered the story to make it a movie

- Lindenis#1

i can't do lincoln, too boring and it's all stuff we know anyway. the better angels (about his childhood) was a bit better for me since it went batpoop insane trying to be artsy and that was fun but like 2 people probably appreciated that so i'm surprised it even got made.

know what bothered me the most about lincoln? all the dumbass reviewers being like "oh yes that was totally Lincoln. Most accurate representation of him ever"

none of you mother(frank)ers were alive back then. there's no video fo this dude. just basically the equivalent of napkin notes about the dudes life outside his name being written on the bottom of some old ass government papers.

yeah that's just bad wording on their part. the most believable representation could be more accurate i guess? since it's a spielberg movie it's probably super hokey though.

i've seen the one gif for ages, but thought that was some strange intro to a wrestler who did that and nothing else

i tend to prefer the garbage dramatizations. outside of a few boring but real ones, they're usually too (frank)ing dull and boring.

the Kurt Cobain: Montage of Heck is a great example. its good and informative and all that poop, but (frank) is it boring. I think I needed 4 attempts to get through it.

but then you get something like All Eyez On Me or Straight Outta Compton, which are more fun but show a real candied up version of the story

- Lindenis#1

As a big Nirvana fan, never watched and probznevwill,
after reading Buzz Osborne's review

First off, people need to understand that 90% of Montage of Heck is bullpoop. Total bullpoop. That’s the one thing no one gets about Cobain — he was a master of jerking your chain.

that sucks to hear. im not telling you to watch it, because i'll likely never watch it a second time, but it does offer a different perspective on Cobain that actually goes toward what Osborne is saying.

Cobain seemed to always try to portray the spacey, doesnt give a poop persona but the doc shows you how (frank)in driven he was to succeed and how calculating and smart he was in the ways he tried to write songs and just generally make the band work.

again, im sure a lot of it was bullpoop, but it did show his chain-jerker, puppetmaster side, beyond the public 'grunge guy' persona, more than any other doc ive seen.

i honestly think he is a lot like Bowie in a lot of ways in terms of pushing for success and being smart enough to tap into a generation while coming across as not even trying. the Ziggy character was meticulously crafted by him after he couldn't break through as a pop star as just himself.
