rewatching Once Upon A Time in America for first time since like high school

3 hours and 49 minutes lol

im about 1/3 done

is that the newer extended cut? i've watched that version once. great movie but it might be a case where the shorter cut is better since you can actually finish watching it before dying of old age.

not sure. that's the version on netflix. im gonna break it up into like 3 sittings. it's definitely scratching that godfather itch. i like it.

i read the theatrical version was chopped to like 90mins

The season finale of Saul was one of the better episodes of any show I've seen in a very good while. Gilligan really hitting 2L's with his story telling prowess.

some of it was really great, but other parts, especially with certain scenes, were just almost ridiculous - like overly romantic - almost giving things a Twin Peaks vibe.

but the music definitely stood out and stayed with me after finishing so that's obviously a good thing
