Steve sent him a burner phone so if Tony really needed him then he could call him to help out because duty and morality.

He was great.

They were all just kinda jobbers but to give them enough to make them seem like threats then the movie would have needed to be 4 hours.

my main takeaway was that they did a good job of having 300,000,000 super heroes without having everyone just feel like side characters

Excellent job. And also making Thanos a character without just making him crappy villain. He has real moments where you get that he believes he's actually the good guy and despite being the "bad" guy, he's also honest and "fair".

also (frank) vision and the olsen twin. so annoying

Probs totes. Blockbuster movies generally don't have great villains.

btw i rewatched Hell or Highwater and despite knowing the movie now the end with Pine and Bridges chatting is still hella tense to me. They're so good.

come to think of it I don't think I've ever disliked him on screen.

Sin City 2 was bad but I don't think it was his fault. Same with Jonah Hex.

i always like the fight scenes in the group. stuff like the big fight in civil war and both big fights at the end are bananas to me. its like the cartoons and comics actually are on screen.
