i've been casually doing a rewatch of season 1 and despite me and gramps idea that there was some background nobody who had 4 lines and is now The Guy, I can't really find a background nobody who had 4 lines who fits the description or anything else

really hope they swerve me but Keller has been too convenient. Showed up to Rapists hotel room with cop pals, access to the rear of the prison after the Tooth Fairy or whatever his name was got busted, I think Keller knew about the Grundy stuff but I'm not there on my rewatch yet.

As a cop he'd know about Madchen Amick being a delinquent and I'm sure the Polly knews was public enough.

Strangling Grundy almost works because as a cop he'd know to mix it up to keep that one out of suspicion.

only thing I don't have a reason for yet is Moose and Luke Perry. Like yeah drugs and adultery, but those were super on the DL. I don't think anyone knew that Mrs Lodge was getting porked by Fred besides... Veronica? Maybe Forsythe Pendleton? And with half the kids in town doing drugs, why Moose and Midge?

To assume that Sugar Daddy or whatever got killed last ep, that would sorta be inconsistent. He shot Fred Andrews in the gut which you can survive with swift enough action and good luck. He peppered Moose without killing him, either somehow or intentionally. But he strangled Grundy to death and we're to believe he killed prison drug guy.

So you can chalk the gun skills up to rusty but good enough, or real damn good and smart.

Does Keller have a military background? Is he shown to be religious? because maybe his son could be on the list next if he's really all in on this biblical cleansing.

I guess for a crazy theory, I've mentioned it before but Betty has an older brother in the comics who is a CIA agent. Maybe her parents hid her brother from her and Polly, like they did Polly from Betty, and he went off on his own or ran away before they were born. Now he's back for vengeance. Could explain why he knows the town, why he has been able to find information, use a gun in either a highly trained or erratic way, why he talks about Betty all "we're so super alike"

We're never told that Polly was the pregnancy that Mr Mrs Cooper were arguing about as teenagers at prom in S1. its only implied. It wouldn't make sense/line up age wise with the rest of their classmates were that baby to be Polly.

But then it maybe couldn't be because apparently this dude is like 40 and has a chubbs tums and old man eyes. That wouldn't work for a guy who would probably be in a 27-33 wheelhouse max.
