They should do a Hobbit TV series instead since the movies blew.

Will they also move at the pace of reality? 10 hours to walk on a mountain.

easily...even though GOT is in shambles with their schedule now. Still pissed they shortened this past season.

Bottom tier
Iron Man 3 - I (frank)ing hate this piece of poop more than anything
The Incredible Hulk - its whatever and thats its biggest sin
Age of Ultron - has moments but Ultron never got nearly as sinister as he should have. Too many threads and scenes that really don't need to exist

Perfectly Fine
Thor: The Dark World - I like Chris Hemsworth and Thor as a fish out of water is fine. It spent a lot of time away from earth and thats when Thor is more fun. Has Lady Sif and she's bae
Thor - perfectly fine movie but Shield really felt forced. Has Lady Sif and she's bae
Ant-Man - good fun although disarms tension with jokes a few too many times
Captain America: The First Avenger - not much to say but it is a good movie
Iron Man 2 - I don't get the hate at all. I thinks its a good movie if a little frayed.

Good
Doctor Strange - I really like its weird trippy ish although it could have been a bit tighter in script
Guardians 1 - never loved it the way everyone else seemed to but it was fun and good and I went with my mom

Dope
Spider-Man: Homecoming - best Spider-Man ever. I don't know if its a better movie than 2, but it does high school Spider-Man which is sorely lacking in the world
Guardians 2 - a lot better than the first and I think Ego is top tier villain. James Gunn got a lot more freedom and you could tell. Better film than 1
The Avengers - Seent this one like 8 times, 4 in theater. It was the live action cartoon I wanted all Jr Vaggy's life
Thor: Ragnarok - Really dig it although it disarms tension with jokes a few too many times. But I like the weirdness and how it completely rewrites a pretty central foundation for Thor

(frank)ing Dece
Civil War - I could jerk off to this film and never go raw. If you want me to write an essay tomorrow I will.
Iron Man - Watch this film like once a month. I (frank)ing love it so much. I can't remember ever being on a movie high like this when leaving the theatre. Literally had texted my entire phone about how awesome it was. Downloaded ringtones from the movie. Offered to take my then-girlfriend's parents just to see it again.
Winter Soldier - I love the 3 good Jason Bourne movies and its those on a more fantastical level. But it accomplished something I wasn't sure they would in makingt Captain Hero versus America Man.

One thing I truly enjoy is the arc of Tony Stark through each film. Constant tug of war between self-constructed hero and accidental villain. Even before becoming Iron Man he wanted to protect everyone, but it never quite works. From building weapons to suits to The Avengers to Ultron to treaties and then trying with a new hero.

He's literally a character with a broken heart who has to save himself first to save others. His genius is his biggest asset but also leads to his mistakes.

Its also fun watching the progression of his tech parallel sort of his mentality from each film to the next.

If you ever want to read a comic that really goes deep on this, Superior Iron Man is (frank)ing tits.

- twiztedmike

i'm okay with people trick or treating a few days prior as they are only doing what their township instructed but if anyone knocks on my door even one day after halloween they will end up stuffed in their bag. i will cut them up into smaller pieces to fit them in there if i have to.

I guess the stories are there, but what worries me is the punch ups they'd need to work for the screen.

After the Hobbit I'm a little wary about it. Like, everything worked so well for LOTR and came together when it could have had some rela junk like Xena warrior Arwen and stuff

- Lindenis#1

LOTR worked so well because Peter Jackson is an uber nerd and they gave him a damn near unlimited budget and almost completely free reign.

He poured everything he had into those movies.

And then the Hobbit came along and he was like "(frank), really? Okay but I'm half-assing it this time."

its gonna be awful because its going to be the same plot as the Avengers

there is no way we can work together. oh wait there is. now lets defeat the alien bug people and the one big baddy and be friends.

every shot in the tv commercials has been 98% CGI.

apparently they reshot like half the movie in reshoots because Joss Whedon, who I think is enormously overrated, was like "wtf is this"

there are also things that make no sense as far as they've been presented but I'll sit on those until after i see the flick

yeah but everything happened just right too. they didn't have to tech to do literally everything in CGI so they still had to do practical effects and sets a lot. instead of just making Minas Tirith entirely in CGI and planting wide shot action in it, they sculpted large scale miniatures and scanned those into the computer which gave them better lighting and grit to the structures.

and there were things they could have screwed up royally but saved themselves. Arwen being the hero to save the day at Helms Deep. Fighting Sauron at the Black Gate.
