I had a couple laugh out loud moments during Fox and I enjoyed the story and the ending with the wolf was perfect. Overall it was a better film than The Grand Budapest Hotel.

edit: I did have one problem with it.


1986 SPOILER ALERT

after they find the body in what is literally the emotional peak of the movie when Wesley Crusher confronts Ace, Ace threatens that this isn't the end. that if Wes think they'll forget this he's wrong.

in the following scene the narrator wraps up the movie and explains what happened to each character but I was left without closure as to what happened when they all got back. If Ace was the main antagonist then he is emasculated as such by his threat being just an empty one.

not really a huge deal but it felt like a loose end.

The Thin Red Line. He's only in it for about 1 minute yet he manages to get two fellow soldiers killed during that time. The perfect Leto film.
