Your logic is that because the Sens had five more regulation wins (this season) than the Leafs therefore the Sens, their talent pool, their prospects, the hot dogs at Scotiabank place are all better than anything connected with the Leafs.

I tend to disagree. As far as the two NHL teams go, the Leafs were ahead last season, and if the Leafs had NHL goaltending from the beginning of the season, perhaps they would have had a few more wins than the Sens.

However, there is no disputing that Toronto has the better AHL team, and therefore the "prospects" in the Leafs system are doing better than the Sens "prospects" at the AHL level. To say otherwise is plain ridiculous.

All that being said, between now and the beginning of the next season could see a lot of changes on both clubs. The Leafs should draft a good prospect at (currently) the fifth position............or could make some trades, as could the Sens. Then there is the UFA season, and either team could make significant moves.

But as of right now, only the Leafs have players in their system who are still playing meaningful hockey games, while the Sens do not. So to argue that Sens prospects are better than the prospects in the Leaf system just does not hold any water outside of Ottawa.

My mistake then ,Toronto has some decent pieces starting to come up now ,Fratin,Colbourne and Kadri should all make the team next season. The Ashton Trade was pretty good too ,he provides some nice thump in the bottom 6

Just curious..... Are you stupid enough to think its the same roster as the past seven years?

Not the same bodies, but similar interchangable lackluster parts.

In your humble opinion, whats the ceiling for a player like Joe Colborne? What current NHL player would you compare him to?

FYI, those are all Doppeldouche posts from last year, when he was claiming that the Binghamton Sens being better than the Marlies clearly showed that their prospects were leaps and bounds ahead of the Leafs prospects. I've taken the posts, word for word, and reversed Leafs and Sens wherever they came up.

So yeah, I realize they're idiotic posts. They're just not mine.
