If he would like, I'd talk to him "man to man," but I would prefer that he give me his home phone number. Oh......right.......he doesn't do that, we have to.......cowardly comment, imo.

By the way, a prolific HB poster and noted anti-Ek troll PMed me today to say that he got a 3 month ban for seriously responding to that challenge.

Of course, he posted this rant AFTER he had banned the dissenter (me) for a day

He said he was "still waiting" for my response. for all he knew i might have just left after he banned me

- S Kaspar Rollins

He banned you for that! I was thinking when I read that exchange, of all the posters he would challenge he chose you? I would say you are pretty reasonable with your Ek bashing.

Yeah me too. But I was told to "let the issue go" by one of the refs after mentioning it on one of the main threads.

Champy, you don't want a piece of this. I was simply responding in kind which for your 3rd grade educated mind means 'You said it first'.

My reference also meant that if all people from California are Mexican (Which I am not) and look for work at Home Depots, my response was to return your poor stereotypical judgement by saying that all people in Montreal are French and are lazy inbreds. Your pitiful response shows me I might be more right than you are.

Now it's obvious I have to explain my original post, because there is underlying humor in it which you obviously don't get. It's simple really. Everyone bags on Montreal fans because they cry and whine more than Sidney Crosby on a bad hair day. In other words, they are rather disliked for their arrogance. It's a stereotype that actually is not all true in my real opinion, but when Ek made the funny reference to Montreal being on fire, I pictured most posters here literally envisioning Montreal on fire and joking about it.

That and the fact I'm a Kings fan and still resent that mockery of officiating by 2 Montreal refs on January 31st, 2009.

If Montreal was on fire, I'd be the 236,422nd person to hand you a fire extinguisher, simply because I'm 3,000 miles away and a lot of people would beat me to it.

There. Does that make you feel better? Have I changed your soggy diaper sufficiently enough for you to carry on in this bleak, harsh Hockeybuzz world that you can continue to spoon off your Socialist system and other hard working Canadiens without feeling one iota of guilt? Don't worry, we have people like that in the states too. You're not alone.

With that said, it's time for you to log off the computer. The library is gonna close soon.

25. I met Shania Twain before she was famous at a Nashville Knights game. We hit it off, she asked me out and I said no because I had a girlfriend.

I believe it's the same guy who had the big rant about Frolov I posted a few days ago. He's well on his way to the HB Hall of Fame

I know this isn't epic, but it's still pretty stupid:

God dammit you need to know facts before you speak.

The media once asked Murray how he felt about Nazem Kadri. Murray responded by saying he is a great kid with tons of skill that any team would like to have.

After the draft he said that while he is a good player he never considered drafting him as he was 16th on his list.

Last year Burke really wanted Erik Karlsson and tried to trade up for him. But Murray wouldn't give up the pick and then he took him. Murray knew that Burke has too much pride so if he said something like that then Burke would take Kadri.

Murray didn't want Kadri, he wanted Burke to take him

the racial police are probably on the job

EDIT: I am amazed at the amount that "racism", "racist" and "African_Connection" are linked
