I would expect Colorado Avalanche fans to actually read the comments Sakic has made, at least since season's end. You Avs fans that join the chaos chorus are not good fans. The Avs are better without you. I would even accept a contrary opinion based on Sakic's own statements, but you Avs fans that don't even bother to enlighten yourself on your own team and just speak out of disgruntled ignorance give the other Avs fans a bad rep.

I still am perplexed as to why, after all this time that Duchene has been available that no one has even bothered to see what Joe himself has had to say on the matter. Its not hard to find. If I was so belligerently against something, I would at least arm my myself with the facts so people would take my rant on the subject seriously so I don't look foolish and have to eat it when the facts come out. I am curious as to why so many hockey fans insist on looking like fools. You all can't be that lazy and/or opinionated can you. And after all the bogus reports that TSN insiders have treated as facts that they have missed by miles over and over again, that every time their is little to no real info for them to report they begin to deliriously and feverishly speculate to draw in every sucker that is to lazy to research the truth for themselves. And after the story starts snowballing hockey fans refuse to believe the more tame actual truth to the contrary.

But if people insist on eating their words I will, like other fans here, just keep on finding this curiosity
Enjoyably interesting. If I was still in college, I would like to write a thesis on this odd social behavior.

some dude is creaming his pants over Yak. I mean, yeah low risk, maybe a reward kind of signing. but he couldn't get in the line-up over jaskin in st. louis.

I usually can't be bothered to chat Avs in there. Coga is alright, but the rest of em are kinda meh.

For sure though, anyone saying anything more positive than "nice gamble, likely becomes nothing, but worth the risk" is just being ridiculous.

sorry. (frank) me the Sox still suck but i actually like watching them this year. (frank)ers never give up. hahn plays this right and he should really continue to bolster the prospect pool.

Yeah agreed, way more fun to watch a young team try hard and be kinda poopty, than a team you expect to be good (frank) it up. Love watchin guys like Yolmer put in a good effort, Melky's been great to watch, Kahnle's been dynamite.

But I did flip back and forth between white sox/rangers and the red sox/jays on saturday. Man, I miss Sale, even if he is always on the brink of another psychotic episode.

Melky should have some suitors. Guy battles every pitch. Busts his ass on defense. Seems like a guy every team should want because he looks like he is having a blast playing. Which is nice to see. He would definitely help some contender.

Agreed about Sale.

That kid Engel can play the (frank) out of CF. Guy covers more ground than Bossard.

any time your team has the possibility of being involved in a sport disgracing incident (SDI™) it makes them more exciting to watch.

Kid can cover ground for sure. Rodon back, looked solid after he settled in last night.

not to mention, I've enjoyed the slow transition away from Hawk. Stone, seems like he's having fun again with benetti.

in any garth blog you can find 20+ mistakes, no matter how short or long it is. call it nitpicking all you want, this is just pathetic. don't know how ek promotes it, oh yeah probably because he lied about having a journalism degree too.

My opening night buzz was killed when the Rangers handed the Sabres a 6-3 loss in front of 16,890 inside HSBC Arena on Saturday night.

first mistake, attendance is wrong.

Marty Biron quickly lifted my mood when I happened up to his locker stall after the game.

anyone know how to "happen up to a locker stall"?

Because he’s in the visitor’s room now, time is off the essence after games.

visitors

Now, it’s a fast-paced convo, all the while, Marty is stuffing his gear in his bag and packing away his helmet.

improper usage of commas and/or random usage of all the while

. We talk hockey, then the conversation goes to other places, Marty has four kids and has a life outside of hockey.

This isn't a sentence..

..unlike last season when Marty left for The Island, and his pregnant wife and three children stayed behind in Clarence.

yeah, the island isn't capitalized..

Marty and I exchanged Hellos

.......seriously?
Roy Halladay’s now legendary no-hitter that he had twirled last week.

not sure i've ever seen a pitcher twirling, but whatever

Biron loves all sports, however, he has a serious jones for his Phillies. I’m guilty of chirping Marty after the Yankees beat the Phillies in the 2009 World Series.

not exactly grammatically incorrect, just horribly written.

Lets just wait

missed apostrophe

“The Playoffs have been great!

no end quote

“I’ve never met him. He wasn’t there when I was there. I’ve met Chase (Utley), (Ryan) Howard, (Shane) Victorino and those guys when I was there”.

period goes before end quote, not after..

According to the veteran net minder,

hyphenation b/t net and minder..

nothing can compare to the overall experience of watching a Phillies game live I and in person.

I?!?!!? what about i. that doesn't fit.

“That ballpark in Philly is such a great ballpark. Its great to watch a game and its great to be there. The one year, when they played Tampa in the world series, the one game was scheduled to start at 8.… it didn’t start til 10:30. We (the Flyers) moved our game to the afternoon and then we walked over to the ballpark at 7 o’clock cuz we thought the game was starting at 8. So, we just hung out there. It was such a great place to be, to be with all of the fans. It was great to be there”.

again, period before quote..

Marty read me Friday blog and quizzed me about the Roger waters concert inside HSBC Arena on Friday night.

lets see. "marty read me friday blog" and failure to capitalize Waters..

...bunch of the guys went",he asked.

Again, wrong.......

“It was alright, lots of old farts liking me rocking out, trying to recapture our youth. you still have your youth, so its not for you”, I quipped. ‘Nothing you’d be interested in, right I asked.

..and again..

“There are a bunch of Pink Floyd songs that I would like to hear him play live in concrert”, he answered

..and again..also, don't forget the missed period after answered

“Like “Comfortably Numb?“, I asked.

well, good try i guess.

“Yeah”.

this is getting pathetic..

I added, ‘maybe a Yankees/Phillies World Series game is in your near future plans?”

and the beat goes on....

Like yours truly, drury is a died in the wool Yankees fanatic.

capitalize drury, apostrophe missing, ANDDDDDDDDDd it's dyed in the wool, hyphenated too.

Our secondary scoring so far is non-resistant, and that to me is typical but not alarming. What is alarming is ROR, Skunk, and Okposo sucking harder than a 10 dollar ho

This isnt the first flip flop by James nor will it be the last. Here's a list off the top of my head:

1) Yandle was the best Dman in the league.

http://www.hockeybuzz.com/blog.php?post_id=64702

Once traded he was the worst dman in the league. You actually go out in state in this article December 5th 2015 that the Coyotes should trade OEL. You also mention in that article that the team has 1 great player(OEL), two decent ones and some duds. Yandle was not traded until March of 2015 which means he was on this team.

Link is here: http://www.hockeybuzz.com...r-Ekman-Larsson/200/73024

2) In the first article about how Yandle was great you also mentioned and I quote "While I am happy to see Doan move on and play in the Playoffs and go for a Cup, I really want the Coyotes to keep Yandle, even though I admit I'm tempted to see what he could bring in."

Then in the link below you flip flop and basically refer to Doan as Canadian Jesus

http://www.hockeybuzz.com...etires-a-Legend/200/87141

3) Rich Tocchet is a good choice

http://www.hockeybuzz.com...o-be-the-Choice/200/86344

Now all of a sudden he was a bad choice.

Some other notable ones are how great Michael Stone and Nick Cousins were when they were brought to Arizona and how they suck now

How Edmonton wouldnt make the playoffs because of the Hall trade and then you claimed that you picked them to make it all a long.

You have no integrity and you know absolutely nothing about this game!

Ten years ago we had regulars on this board, much like we do now. There were many standouts. Jsaq, Ob18, Buts, Flyersforever16, guys who really had knowledge to offer, not only in the rich history of the Philadelphia Flyers but the game of hockey itself. Things are different now. I know I should take apart of this blame, so I will. There has always been bickering and heated debates but there hasn't been a brotherhood or a country club feel for all who love the Flyers in along time. There hasn't been anyone has really policed and kept the peace in here in along time. Right now, if the majority doesn't like someone, they're singled out.

Flyersforever16 was the single most respected standout on these boards. If there was along dragged out, difference of opinion, he would step in. He wouldn't choose a side. He would divide the two sides, explain the disconnect between the two and make the point for both sides. He called bullying what it is. These boards suck now because the FF16's of the world just got tired of a board that should be fun and have walked away because they knew even ten years ago they couldn't make being here fun anymore.

Honestly. Coming here sucks! I ask myself why I keep coming here all the time. I do it because I've never had the Philadelphia Flyers experience in Philadelphia. I'm not from there. I love this team not because I'm from there but I choose to love this team. Tough to say I could ever get along with the people. I respect their passion but not there "with us or against us" beliefs.

I hope someone as respected as Flyersforever16 can someday take over the mantel and keep us all in line. These boards are in desperate need of a real respected leader.
