Watched game last night. Leafs lost game, lost fight. Leafs #1 draft pick looked pretty weak in his own end. But he seemed willing to handle puck, his skating looked good.

Nice to have a scoreboard.

Were you at the game?

If not where did you watch it (on TV?)

Who are you to tell me what I should and shouldn't enjoy, old man? I have better things to do than watch players that aren't going to be in the league.

I follow the NHL and the rest of my time is spent as an assistant coach on my son's team. I see their joy and passion. Get over yourself you (frank)ing idiot. You have no place to tell me what part of the game I appreciate and miss out on. I see the magic with my son's team and now in the nhl with kids like marner Matthews nylander. It's enough for me. I have a life outside of hockey too. Which is why I don't troll people from church, you goof.

Streamed it. NHL network has it. Several other sites have made it available as well. Pretty sure Montreal/Ottawa can be found at 7:00 tonight.

Bitterness takes root in resentment. Resentment is always the product of hurt, some form of emotional wounding. People who display outward anger, especially contempt, are just trying to avoid absorbing more hurt.

I have no desire to add to your hurt. But, you need to know, your outward bitterness suggests unresolved patterns of betrayal, perhaps abandonment.

You need to be very careful not to use mood altering substances to try and repair ot alter your sad feelings.

This pretty much sums up all your summer talk. I now understand your pychosis in your own words. All those angry hate filled rants about the Leafs youth not being good enough and more last place finishes...

Look. Ill be honest with you. I didnt need you to tell me youre envious, bitter and outraged over the direction and situation of both teams. it was kind of obvious all along.

Im still not interested in the rookie tournament. How does this make you feel. let it out, don't hold back.

Jaros is the real deal. He, along with Englund and Chabot will fight for playing time. Coaches love Maxime Lajoie and Harpur was good in playoffs last year.

Dont hold back Spatso. we're getting somewhere!

This reminds me of that Sens fan who was so hurt with his rival picking another elite talent that he resorted ro trolling Laine. Dont be that guy....oh....wait.

It is important to properly read the signals when you see Leaf fans reverting to anger, threatening tactics, name calling and personal insults. The responses are essentially self protective. These fans believe they have been beaten around so badly, especially over the last few years. They have been ridiculed, trivialized and dismissed. They have been excluded from the competitive hockey debate. So, they make irrational hockey claims. They come to despise anyone who forces them to face reality.

This summer is about a grand illusion. Matthews, they tell themselves, can do better than Tavares, Stamkos or Eichel or, dare we even say, McDavid. He will instantly pull the Leafs into the playoff mix in his first year and "we will matter again."

When the reality of the situation finally settles into the thinking of Leaf fans they will revert to lashing out against others. They are unconsciously trying to inflict the humiliation they feel unto to others. They want others to know the pain that they are living every day. Leaf fans, for example, do not hate Karlsson. They just intuitively know that he causes them so much pain. It has everything to do with how much Senator fans love Karlsson. They adore his skill his speed and the fact that he is so unique and special. He laughs, he smiles and delights. He is so much like Alphie and entirely fused into our hearts. Leaf fans just want a player who is special for them, someone to love, somebody that they know they can believe in.

One last thought. Shame is always held together by a deeply held wound. You can only escape the wound by naming it, by defining and by choosing not to let it define you from the secret recesses of your own mind. I stopped feeling ashamed when I finally stopped drinking the blue and white kool aid and called out and named the pain. When I publicly let go of the Leafs, when I chose to no longer carry the burden of their failure, I became free. So, I understand their bitterness, their invective and mostly their hurt. I understand how badly they have suffered. I try not to add to that suffering by responding in kind when they become so disrespectful of others.

Lets talk about this Spatso. How hurt, bitter, insecure, jealous and outraged were you when you wrote this? I feel like were getting closer to fixing you. Me and Do0Opps will mommy kiss your wounds. DoO0pps will offer to kiss more of you but you must resist. Youre married.

Well if the Leafs lose to the Habs today then ottawa will be 2-0, Habs 1-1, Leafs 0-2. sens will win the tournament and Leafs will be last! Another opportunity to gloat over meaningless accomplisments. It will be like "list winning" all over again!

Ill be taking the kid to Wonderland soon then watching football when we get home. im sure you'll let me know how it went.

That's because "your" an idiot. We've been through this. Matthews cant do as good as Stamkos Tavares and Eichel did as rookies. Once again you believe in the false to protect your fragile emotional state. But as long as you believe it thats all that matters. Nobody can take thay from you. Not even reality.

Lighten up. It is hockey. It is ballet on ice. I enjoy a good junior game or kids playing minor hockey.

When you lose your identity into a team's result, it is about you and not the team.

I love the rookie tournament. I love the enthusiasm of the kids. For some, it is the only chance they will ever get to wear the uniform of the team that drafted them.

Now this is the time you need to stop and take a deep breath.

Ask yourself, "why am I allowing myself to get so angry? Why am I giving my power away to someone I don't even know?"

Have a good day at Wonderland with your son. Do it well and he will remember it forever.
