It's hard to keep track of what the Sabres are up to...it's been reported they were about to announce a trade for Hellebuyck, but poking around with Markstrom too. They were linked to Lindholm, then it was Backlund, but the only E3 to emerge after talks with Calgary was for Hanifin. Conor Garland was also an E3, but Garland is an E4 with Montreal. Also reported that Sabres were discussing Logan Thompson, who is apparently available, according to sources anyway. Its almost as if the Sabres are in on everyone, but Keller is STRONG...

Sabres aren’t after Markstrom. He’s 33 supported an awful .892% sv% has 3 years left at $6 mill. This also is without even mentioning Dahlin, Mitts, Power and Krebs needing new contracts after next season.
