Then you obviously are not familiar with all the horrible trades and contracts Holland did over the last decade. It's taken Yzerman several years to clean up the dumpster fire that Holland left in Detroit. As Edmonton's core continues to age... you'll get to see it first hand.

While I don't like the term length I'm okay with the $5.1. We had 30 million in cap space heading into free agency. Yzerman will cut him loose or trade him later if needed. He will be a good depth player. I see last season was his career high of 52 points.. and he's still relatively young at 28 years old. We'll see how it plays out.
