Price is a little rich. And good for him. Im just glad we get atleast 2 more years of him. It would of been a bad look if he walked to free agency.

Agreed, I'll take two years at that price over letting him walk and trying to find a replacement elsewhere.

I personally don't see it as overpayment since he fit in right away and definitely the type of d-man the Kinga absolutely needed. I was worried when he was first asked about re-signing shortly after the trade that he wanted to test the market. So I am glad he wanted to stay.

As for Korpi, I don't know. Maybe I am in the minority but overall wasn't super impressed with him. If he re-signs for a very fair price then cool, but not sure about overpaying him even though the Kings will need a goalie. Maybe there will be other ones available on the market or via trade.

$5.88 per year is quite a bit less than what he probably would have received if he did test free agency.

As for Korpisalo.. his numbers with LA in 11 games 2.13GAA and 0.921 SA% were pretty good
